‘Embody You’ was designed for you.

In this 1-day body image workshop, you will learn about and experience proven strategies to help you improve your body image.

Not only that, but you will do so in the company of an intimate group of other people who want to do the same.

    Learn strategies that will help you overcome body image distress and feel more at home in your body.

  • Learn About Embodiment

    Learn about the five dimensions of embodiment and how to improve upon these areas in your own life.

  • Practice Embodiment

    Yin yoga is an embodiment practice that will help you drop out of your head and into your body. A 2hr practice will nourish your body and leave you feeling deeply relaxed.

  • Connect with Others

    Surround yourself with like-minded people who want the same thing as you; to feel more at home in their bodies. Share and connect with others in a supportive, nurturing environment.

The Day Will Look Like…

Morning: Learn

The morning will consist of interactive exercises, discussions and teachings around body image and embodiment. Get ready to learn lots about your own body image story and how to rewrite it.

Break: Lunch

We’ll break for an hour for lunch at one of the many cafes in the area. Head off alone or with others.

Afternoon: Experience

The afternoon is where the learnings of the morning come to life. We will practice a yin-style, gentle yoga practice together to experience the practice of embodiment, with a sharing circle to close the day together. No previous yoga experience or fitness level is required.

Your body deserves to be held, respected, and cherished, even if you don’t love all of it. In a world that teaches us to do the opposite, this workshop will be a breath of fresh air.

Meet Your Host

Hey there, I’m Niamh and to date, I have guided hundreds of people (and counting) back to a place of food and body image freedom. I specialise in intuitive eating, disordered eating and body image and run a weight inclusive, HAES aligned, online nutrition practice. I am passionate about helping people, like you, to unlock your inner wisdom and return back to your body. I help you establish a mind body connection so that you can figure out what’s best for you and your health.

I am highly qualified and have combined my expertise in nutritional science, intuitive eating, psychotherapy and yoga to put this workshop together for people just like you, to help you live the life you truly deserve.

FAQs

  • Oscailt is located in Ballsbridge, close to Dublin City and is very easy to get to by car, bus or train. It is a 20-min walk from St. Stephens Green.

  • There is street parking available in the area, which is free on Sundays.

  • This workshop is designed for an intimate group not exceeding 15 people.

  • Oscailt is an integrative health centre, and therefore, there is no food on site. Lunch is separate from your ticket. There are plenty of cafes in the area to enjoy lunch and a coffee - Sprout is nearby and is my absolute favourite!

  • Please make sure to wear comfy, warm clothes that you can move your body in. Feel free to bring a yoga mat - there will be some in the studio if you do not have one. A notebook and pen will also be needed for taking notes.
